I worked with a local distillery to showcase their newest spirit, an agave that was released on Cinco de Mayo 2024 to commemorate the DC riots and how the community came together after standing up to violent police, an incident that happened a few months after the LA riots when they beat Rodney King.

focusing on composition and points of interest. the handwritten copy contained phrases i found while reviewing photo archives of what the activists wrote in response to the city's police brutality.
