"FFS, please don't let my logo be an obvious roof!" - client.

A small business family in Chesapeake, Virginia, is taking on the Angi & Thumbtack market in the Virginia Hampton Roads area and wanted an updated brand that was friendly and fun but still professional and authoritative enough to rub elbows with its tough blue-collar professionals to handle itself.

The owner of the company, an avid dog lover, was excited over the idea of making clients say it twice to bark their name and help them remember it.
previous attempts that were getting closer, but just not quite right. One was too dark and moody, while the other belonged on the Nickelodeon channel.

the wordmark is readable from any angle, given that it spends its time outdoors.
The avatar, logo, or favicon shows the passing hours of the day and night, showing the business's online hours as always open for business.
Typography, headers, & body. While likely unnecessary to use all weights, it's beautifully soothing knowing the family is like an extensive handyman's toolkit.
The website is actually a robust and growing directory of home services providers in the southeastern part of Virginia, DC proper, and southern Maryland.
